Portrait commission - A2
A Rare Opportunity to Own an Original Work
For a limited time, acclaimed painter Nelson Ferreira invites collectors to commission a handcrafted portrait at a special patron rate. All proceeds directly support his teaching projects for fine art students in developing countries such as Laos (NIFA - National Institute of Fine Arts) and Bangladesh (Charukola Institute, Dhaka University) — helping provide painting training where access is most limited.
Each portrait commission is both a work of art and an act of patronage.
COMMISSION DETAILS:
Paintings will be crafted using only the finest art materials and expert technical skill.
Commissions are available for both human and animal portraits, each approached with the same academic rigour and painterly sensitivity.
All prices are for one subject per image. An additional subject adds 20% to the total.
Commissions are usually finalised within a month. Please contact me for special dates. An extra 20% charge for emergency dates.
YOUR ROLE AS A PATRON:
By commissioning a portrait, you are not only acquiring an original artwork by a contemporary master — you are directly supporting fine art students in developing countries, ensuring that traditional artistic knowledge continues to flourish. This is a time-limited initiative. Once concluded, commissions will return to Nelson Ferreira’s standard studio rates.
